A consistent and attractive appearance of the external features of our Units and the adjacent owned properties promotes pride and continued enjoyment within the community for Residents. It also ensures the ongoing appeal of our community to future prospective residents, and helps guarantee the highest possible market value for our properties.
To ensure that this consistent, attractive external appearance is maintained - and enhanced where possible - our Corporation Declaration provides for the Board to exercise full control over any and all changes to the external appearance of our Units and our adjacent owned properties.
All Residents must be aware of and comply fully with the requirements of Corporation Declaration Article IV, Para #9: No addition, alteration, repair, replacement, renovation, improvement, painting or staining that affects the appearance of any part of any unit that can be seen from any other unit and/or from the common elements or other lands of Mill Club on the River Grand is permitted, except with the PRIOR written consent of the Board, which consent may be arbitrarily or unreasonably withheld and, if given, revoked.
If you need or want to make any changes to the externally visible features of your Unit or of your adjacent owned property, you must submit your request for Board approval and you should do this well in advance of your planned change - at least 1 month. Normally, the Board will deal with such requests at their monthly meeting. You can check the date of the next Board meeting on the 'Event Calendar' on the Home Page. If there is an urgent need for a repair or replacement, the Board can work via email.
